Functionality
The ASS 77 PD uses a lift & slide mechanism — when the handle is turned, the panel lifts slightly off the seal and glides smoothly on rollers. When closed, the panel drops back onto the seal for weather-tight closure. This allows extremely large and heavy panels to operate with minimal effort.
How It Works
The panoramic design uses slim outer frames that integrate into the building structure, leaving minimal visible aluminium. The lift & slide mechanism raises the panel by a few millimeters when opened, transferring weight to precision rollers. When closed, the panel descends onto EPDM compression seals for air and water tightness.
