Functionality
AWS 75.SI+ features Schueco's innovative insulating zone — a wider thermal break zone filled with insulating foam that dramatically reduces heat transfer. This allows the system to achieve passive house-compatible U-values while maintaining slim sight lines and large window sizes.
How It Works
The insulating zone technology places a foam-filled cavity between the inner and outer aluminium frames, combined with polyamide thermal break strips. This multi-barrier approach reduces frame heat transfer to levels approaching timber windows, while maintaining aluminium's strength and slim profiles. Advanced EPDM gasket geometry ensures Class 4 air-tightness.
