A contemporary multi-storey private residence wrapped in slim dark-bronze aluminium windows, balcony sliders and full-height French doors - engineered for daylight, ventilation and uninterrupted garden views.

Shankar's Residence is a four-level private residence finished in clean white render with warm mustard accents and a frameless glass balustrade façade. Woodminium delivered the entire glazing envelope - floor-to-ceiling sliding doors for the living and bedroom levels, tall casement windows for bedrooms and stairwells, narrow horizontal slit windows for bath and utility cores, and matching French entry doors. Every opening uses a deep dark-bronze powder-coated aluminium frame with toughened glazing and concealed multi-point locking.

The story

The architect's brief was clean lines and maximum light. We engineered slim 50mm sightline frames so each window reads as a single dark line against the white render - letting the glass and the view do the talking.

The living level uses a 2.4m-tall French sliding door system that opens directly onto the cantilevered balcony with frameless glass railing. In the master suite, a four-panel slider runs the full wall width, dissolving the boundary between bedroom and the planted view beyond.

Smaller bedrooms received tall narrow casement windows sized to the room proportions, complete with safety grilles to the owner's specification. Service zones - bath, utility and stair - got horizontal slit and obscure-glass casement windows tuned for ventilation without compromising privacy.

Every aluminium profile is finished in a deep matte bronze that disappears against the mustard accent panels and reads as crisp shadow lines on the white walls.
